After being run for 31 years, the Oliver Tractor company was acquired by White Motor Corporation in 1960. The Oliver 2255 was the last "pure bred Oliver tractor" model, and since then they were mixed and built with the other White Motor Corporation tractors, farm machines, and other pieces of equipment. The company filed bankruptcy in 1985, and since then Oliver and White tractors have been studied and admired as antique tractor pieces. They have been sold to collectors and are in many museums and personal collections around the United States.
They are many Oliver Tractor enthusiasts nowadays, and you can find that there are many fairs and shows that rotate around these kinds of tractors every year. They are prized as being one of the first brands and true hard working tractors of the United States farms.
